Alice Coulam
Originally from Nottinghamshire, Alice learnt piano and saxophone from an early age. She read music at Sheffield University and once graduated started experimenting with the voice.
Now in her late-20s, Alice has moved to London, having been very well-established as a singer in Manchester and on the Northern scene.
Alice has worked with some of the country's finest musicians including Brian Dee, Alan Barnes, John Pearce, the John Miller Orchestra, the Len Phillips Big Band and recorded backing vocals for Richard Hawley's album Low Edges. She is currently on tour with the Nick Ross Orchestra in which she works alongside the acclaimed singer Matthew Ford.
Alice previously held a four year residency at The Walnut Club, an award winning organic restaurant in Hathersage, a residency at the Hui Wei Chinese Restaurant in Sheffield and has performed in many Pizza Express restaurants. She has also sung at Her Majesty's Theatre in London and The Stables Theatre in Wavendon.
